The German Summer School for Human Factors is the successor of the Berlin Summer School of Human Factors which was initiated and organized in the years 2015-2018 by the Department of Psychology and Ergonomics, TU Berlin.

It is an annual postgraduate event that is supported by the Section of Engineering Psychology of the German Psychological Society.

The Summer School is intended to be an interactive platform that promotes the transfer and communication of interdisciplinary skills, relevant to Human Factors research. Successful postgraduate applicants (MSc and PhD candidates) are presented with the opportunity to present their research interests and current projects for critical discussion. Prominent researchers are invited to teach advanced methods and communicate state-of-the-art research from their laboratories.
