Von 1995 bis 2015 führte die Fachgruppe alle zwei Jahre eine Tagung durch. Seit der 5. Tagung 2003 an der Technischen Universität Eindhoven, Niederlande, organisierte die Fachgruppe diese als internationale „Conference on Environmental Psychology“. Tagungssprache ist Englisch, so dass Teilnehmende auch aus dem nicht-deutschsprachigen Ausland angezogen werden. Seit 2017 wird die Tagung von der Division 4 der IAAP als International Conference on Environmental Psychology (ICEP) organisiert.
