Die Fachgruppe Arbeits-, Organisations- und Wirtschaftspsychologie wurde 1985 gegründet. Sie entwickelte sich aus der seit 1974 bestehenden Gruppe der Fachdozenten für Arbeits- und Organisationspsychologie.
